Dream

No visit to Slide Ranch is complete without a little Dream. Our daydreamy, queen of daze and mellow, should be wearing tie dye and strolling down Haight street, sweet Nubian grandma goat Dream. She's been a resident of Slide Ranch the majority of her life, since at least 2016. She birthed 3 kids here is 2017 and while many of us here don't know what her personality was then, she certianly lives in her own dreamy world now! Dream may be one of the most mellow goats ever. She always has a sleepy, sweet, dreamy expression, she's been known to come into milk sponateously for a short time, and likes to scare us by sleeping like she's dead!

Nubian goats originate from Britain and the Middle East. Their long floppy ears are thought to be an adaptation to protect their inner ears from desrt sands. We love the velvety softness of thos elong floppy ears!

If you haven't been by for a visit in a while - we think it's time you come by and enjoy our sweet Dream. Until then - here's a few photos and a brief video below to enjoy the many states of Dream.

P.S. We've released our upcoming workshops (more coming soon!) and Fall Family Farm Days - join us on the Ranch! We also have space in a few of our remaining July camp weeks!
