Mugs in Wild
Spring is an amazing time to be at Slide Ranch. The flowers are blooming, the pasture is green and growing, sounds and sites of the warmer season is being enjoyed by wildlife and humans alike. It is also a VERY busy time for us here. Spring Break camp sold out and is in full swing. We have additional school programs exploring with us. Our Ranch team is caring for all of our animals, tending our wonderfully rpoductive garden, managing all the vegetartion that seems to sprout faster than it should everyday on our trails, and maintaining all the things that need to be maintained on the Ranch. Sometimes in the business of day, small things get left behind... like little easter eggs throughout the Ranch. I affectionately refer to these as Mugs in Wild. It is very possible you have come across these signs of recent endeavors during your visit. Here are a few of my favorites. You may note that some mugs enjoy their wild adventures more frequently, some like to hide in little nooks, and some prefer a mate to join them and even seems to have earned a tip.
P.S. Please join us for Spring Fling and help us celebrate this remarkable space nestled along the Marin Coast. We could use a few more volunteers! Can't come? Consider supporting the work we do to provide engaging outdoor experiences for children from throughout the bay area and make a donation today.
