Opportunities
You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.
- Dr. Jane Goodall
Nearly 7,000 people visit Slide Ranch each year for farm-based environmental education programs. We lead day and overnight programs for ~4,000 participants, pre-school through high school, representing more than 80 schools and community organizations, multiple Family Farm Days, workshops, and community programming throughout the year. During the summer we welcome close to 600 youth ages 5-12 and CITs ages 12-17 to our summer camp. Our programming introduces visitors to sustainable food systems, agriculture, environmental science, land and animal stewardship, beekeeping, farm to table cooking, and sustainable gardening. Countless visitors enjoy exploring our wild spaces, our organic garden, or camping at one of our incredible campsites.
