Spring Fling 2025: An Overview

What: Our biggest Slide Ranch celebration of the year, welcoming over 500 people to Slide this past Saturday, May 3, 2025

Tell me more: from watching sheep be sheared to making salve, herb bundles to flower crowns to wool crafts to goat milking to focaccia in the cob oven with live music playing all day, we celebrated the beauty of springtime at Slide Ranch in community.

Child while watching the sheep shearing, “I guess now they’re naked, NAKED.”
Sheep upon being sheared, “Baaaaaahhhhhhh.”
Parent upon showing their child the ocean’s waves, “Can you feel the ocean’s power from up here?!” Child, “No, mama. But I can smell the sea!”
Child seeing broccoli growing in the garden for the first time, “Wait, is that what I think it is?! I know that stuff! I eat it!”
Parent upon seeing their child’s completed flower crown, “You don’t need a castle to be royalty here, you just need a crown of flowers and that Pacific view.”
Child upon walking up the driveway at the end of the day, “That was the best day of my life.”
