  • Geology Walk

    Explore how geologic history has shaped the Slide Ranch of today. As we tour the site, we will engage with a walk through time, meet the wild and "wacke" rocks under our feet, and see how 55 years of organic farming practices have enriched our natural soil.

  • Fermentation Workshop

    Join us in our Farm to Table Teaching Center Kitchen and learn about the art of fermentation! This 2.5 hour workshop includes materials and instruction on making kimchi, sauerkraut, and pickled red onions. Fermented foods can aid in digestion, building a healthy immune system, and boost energy. At the end of our workshop, you will leave with your flight of fermented treats and new knowledge and inspiration to continue fermenting and preserving food at home! 

    Fermented foods are a great holiday gift!

    Slide Ranch's Family Farm Day is an exciting 3.5-hour program, 9:30am-1:00pm, featuring goat milking. As the weather turns colder and we welcome the holiday season, enjoy a morning at Slide Ranch with our goats, sheep, chickens, and ducks, and then warm with hot teas made from garden herbs picked fresh. Create a unique salve with herbs and herbal infusions from our garden to take home.
