About Our New Farm-To-Table Teaching Center

Slide Ranch has just completed its first new building in more than 40 years, the Farm-to-Table Teaching Center (FTTC). The new Center will expand farm-to-table education and lifestyle programming for kids and adults. The building features a commercial teaching kitchen, a deck overlooking the Pacific Ocean, a living roof and full accessibility.

The first new building since 1970, the new FTTC has the following features:

  • Commercial Farm-to-Table Teaching Kitchen for education programs (also available for private rental)
  • Large exterior deck overlooking the Pacific Ocean
  • Large exterior deck overlooking the Teaching Garden with Outdoor Kitchen
  • Dedicated Farm-to-Table classroom space
  • Fully ADA compliant
  • Interior furnishings donated by Restoration Hardware
  • Fixtures and tabletop items for Farm-to-Table Teaching Kitchen donated by Williams Sonoma
  • Architect is Mark Cavagnero (SF Jazz, new Wilsey Opera Center) and Landscape architect is Paul Kephart (inventor of living roof – Cal Academy)
