Slide Ranch Summer Camp 2009
Slide Ranch Day Camps will leave your child with lasting memories of feeling nourished by the natural world.  Our educational emphasis at Slide Ranch is on firsthand experience and exploration.  Campers are encouraged to touch, taste, smell, hear, and observe.   We focus on teaching respect for animals, plants, the earth and each other. 
Your child will actively participate in farm routines and tasks to gain an appreciation of the origins of our food and fiber, and to learn a care-taking role with plants and animals.  Much of the camp focuses on farm and garden experiences like milking goats, feeding chickens, preparing compost and planting seeds.  Your child will also explore the coastal wild lands and the amazing tide pools near Slide Ranch.

Please Note: If a camp week is sold out and you want to be on the waiting list, you must complete the registration form and send it in.  You will not be charged until we have a spot for you and we confirm that you still want it.  We are sorry we can't accommodate more campers right now. 
 
Ranch Rangers (Ages 5 to 8*)
Dates:  June 15-19 SOLD OUT, WAITING LIST OPEN

            July 6-10 SOLD OUT, WAITING LIST OPEN

Hours:  9am - 1:30pm
Fee: $350/week (includes a T-shirt & Group Photo)

*The week of June 29 – July 3, nine to twelve-year-olds may also enroll.  Older children will be grouped together, and their day will be the same length and cost as for the younger children.  This is a pilot program responding to requests we receive from parents with siblings of different ages to have a week in which all can attend.

Junior Farmers (Ages 8 to 12)
Dates:  June 29-July 3* SOLD OUT, WAITING LIST OPEN (Please note: Hours for this week are 9am - 1:30pm and the Fee is $350.)

Hours: 9am – 3:00pm
Fee: $385/week (includes a T-shirt & Group Photo)

Fee:      $100 (includes a T-shirt & Group Photo)

To register for camp, you must complete a registration form and mail in payment. We do not accept registration for camp over the phone, by fax or by email.
