Summer Day Camp 2010

Slide Ranch Day Camps will leave your child with lasting memories of feeling nourished by the natural world.  Our educational emphasis at Slide Ranch is on firsthand experience and exploration.  Campers are encouraged to touch, taste, smell, hear, and observe.   We focus on teaching respect for animals, plants, the earth and each other. 
Your child will actively participate in farm routines and tasks to gain an appreciation of the origins of our food and fiber, and to learn a care-taking role with plants and animals.  Much of the camp focuses on farm and garden experiences like milking goats, feeding chickens, preparing compost and planting seeds.  Your child will also explore the coastal wild lands and the amazing tide pools near Slide Ranch.

Please Note: If a camp week is sold out and you want to be on the waiting list, you must complete the registration form and send it in.  You will not be charged until we have a spot for you and we confirm that you still want it.  We are sorry we can't accommodate more campers right now.

*The June 28-July 2nd and August 16-20 Ranch Rangers week will be open to 9-12-year-olds as well. $375 per child. 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM.

Camp Hours and Fees:
Ranch Rangers - 9 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
$375 per week

Junior Farmers - 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
$400 per week
*See above for time and fee for the week of June 29-July3.

Jr. Camp Counselors - 8:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.
$125 per week

To register for camp, you must complete a registration form and mail in payment. We do not accept registration for camp over the phone, by fax or by email.

If a camp session is sold out and you would like to be placed on the waiting list, please complete the application for the week you want and send it in.  You will be notified when/if a spot opens up.
