Slide Ranch Legacy Circle

We are moved when we see people who came to Slide Ranch in the past return with their children and grandchildren so that they may also experience the transformative potential of our place and program.  We invite you to preserve this legacy for future generations by joining our Legacy Circle and making a planned gift to Slide Ranch.  You may choose to support any or all of the following areas through your planned gift:

1) Teachers Fund – support our teacher-in-residence program, preparing future educators for meaningful careers in the fields of education, sustainable agriculture, and environmental service.

2) Youth Opportunity Fund – help ensure that disadvantaged children continue to tap into the power of Slide Ranch experiential learning programs.

3) Land and Facilities Fund – our gardens, pastures, camp site and buildings are so central to the Slide Ranch experience.  Ensure their safety and beauty far into the future.

There are a variety of ways to make a planned gift to Slide Ranch. Among them are:

• Make a charitable bequest to Slide Ranch in your will or living trust.  This generous act, which has little or no current financial impact on you, may result in the largest and most lasting one-time gift you ever make to Slide Ranch.

• Receive immediate tax and income benefits by transferring cash, stock and/or real estate to a charitable remainder trust which distributes annual payments to you for life.  This trust will never pay capital gains tax on the sale of appreciated assets, will provide you with an immediate charitable income tax deduction and ensure a future gift to Slide Ranch.

• Name Slide Ranch as your IRA designee.  This is a simple, fast and revocable way to make a planned gift.  You maximize the power of your IRA by designating a nonprofit organization in lieu of individuals, thereby avoiding the income tax your heirs would have to pay.

Give for tomorrow and be recognized today.  Our Legacy Society provides lifetime recognition to donors who have included Slide Ranch in their estate plan.  All you need to do is tell Slide Ranch that your plan is in place and that you have no objection to being publicly listed in the Legacy Society Membership List.  We also are pleased to provide naming opportunities including a Legacy Member Garden.
