The future of Slide Ranch is bright and clear. Recognizing our value to the community, the GGNRA is working with us to ensure our position as a Park Partner for coming generations of visitors. After more than ten years of a capital campaign and Master Plan to renew and recreate our facilities and improve our visitors' experience of the natural environment, we are looking at new options to repair and improve essential facilities and install necessary infrastructure to support the resident teachers and more than 8000 program participants each year.

Conceptual designs for a green barn, constructed with salvaged lumber draw on traditional farm architecture, honoring the farmers who settled the Marin coast. A new teacher's center and housing for our teaching staff are intended to make the most graceful and efficient use of the landscape and limited resources while providing enhanced facilities for our programs.

This blending of styles reflects our respect for the past and involvement in creating a sustainable future. But we need your help.
