This festive family campout, anticipating Halloween, is a celebration of community, art and wholesome treats. With a playful spirit we will explore the creative potential of a bounty of winter squash, of all shapes and sizes. We will get crafty with wool and make tasty tidbits to share for trick-or-treating around the farm. Bring costumes / festive adornments. Dinner, treats, breakfast and Sunday brunch will be provided.
Our Family Campouts offer the very special opportunity to pitch your tent at our campsite overlooking the ocean, have a campfire and wake up on the farm at Slide Ranch. On Saturday, join Slide Ranch teachers for a day of farm activities, crafts and nature exploration. At night, gather for dinner, a cozy campfire and camping under the stars. Sunday morning, enjoy a breakfast buffet, morning farm chores, and preparing homemade treats harvested from our organic garden.
Campout begins at 10:00am on Saturday and ends by 12:00pm on Sunday.
Please Note: Participants must bring their own camping equipment (including tent and sleeping bags), and a picnic lunch for Saturday.
You will be eligible for a full refund (minus a $50 processing fee) if your cancellation is made at least 8 weeks before the Program start date. Cancellations received with less than 8 weeks' notice WILL NOT be eligible for a refund unless a replacement is available to take your spot. If you would like to reschedule your program, a $50 processing fee will be charged and changes will be accommodated only when there is space available.
