Wild Lands
Situated within the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, Slide Ranch is perched on 134 acres of coastline just north of the Golden Gate Bridge. Visitors to the ranch have access to miles of trails and surprising treasures such as wild animal tracks, edible plants and a resident owl family. The Pacific Ocean pounds at the base of rolling hillsides, creating a unique ecosystem that is home to diverse populations of flora and fauna. During low tide, you can explore some of the most spectacular tide pools in the region, discovering creatures such as sea stars, snails, anemones and crabs.

“My favorite part about that trip was when we all found our own space out on the cliff and sat for a few minutes. I fell in love with the beauty of the place and am very thankful that I got a chance to experience it with all my friends.”
